SCR/DEF System Cleaning:

SCR (Selective Catalyst Reduction)

DEF (Diesel Exhaust Fluid)

These catalyst are required to be cleaned less frequently than DPF's and DOC's.

Improper/Over-dosing of DEF can lead to the SCR efficiency falling below manufacturer minimums, causing de-rating issues. Our cleaning system effectively removes DEF crystallization. Once this cleaning process is complete the reactive material in the SCR is able to convert NOX efficiently.
